The precious oil can be extracted from both the seeds and the pulp, due to the plant’s tendency of accumulating lipids in the mesocarp, or fruit pulp. The berries are especially antioxidant-rich in potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, folate, biotin, and Vitamins B1, B2, B6, C & E to enhance collagen production and smoothen skin.
Being an antioxidant-rich oil, Sea Buckthorn is highly efficient in protecting and hydrating the face, making it suitable for any and all skin types. It is effective at reducing 3 major signs of aging - wrinkles, fine lines, and blemishes.
